Chronicles of the Nova Corporation

Internal records. Whoever asks gets an honest answer.

2948Trade Register

On 15 November 2948 the Nova Corporation was entered into the trade register. It was not a faceless administrative act, but the starting signal for a small group of friends with one ship, clear values and the firm promise to stand up for each other when things get hard.

The first three years went to plan. Hauling contracts in the Stanton system. Cargo from Area 18 on ArcCorp to New Babbage on microTech, spare parts for refineries on Hurston, the occasional mining run in the asteroid belts between Crusader and ArcCorp. Nothing spectacular. That was not the point either. The point was to deliver contracts on time and to pay the invoices.

2950Hellion Initiative

In May 2950 the Hellion Initiative came into our lives. Founded in the same year, it shared the same attitude from the start: reliability, plain words and a deep comradeship. A cargo contract between ArcCorp and microTech grew into real trust, shared routes and, on 20 May 2950, a firm declaration of alliance. Since then we have stood shoulder to shoulder in the verse, as partners you can rely on blindly.

2951Siege of Orison

In 2951 our community was put to the test. When the Nine Tails under Mendo Ren laid siege to Orison and paralyzed the airspace, our crew sat on full holds. Instead of waiting for outside help, we held together: two of our pilots leased Gladius fighters and flew escort themselves. Our security wing was not drawn up on paper, it came out of the natural reflex to protect each other.

The years after that were quiet. The corporation grew slowly, built up mining operations of its own and established fixed trade routes. Besides protecting its own transports, the security wing also took on external escort contracts. Alongside it, a small repair and support branch appeared.

2955Regen Crisis

In 2955 BiotiCorp's imprint crisis shook trust across the whole system. When an explosion in New Austin on Terra killed hundreds of people who could not be regenerated, everyone saw how vulnerable they were. Hospitals reported themselves overwhelmed, trained medical pilots grew scarce. We answered as a community and brought in the Apollo Triage, to give our crew and civilians medical backing in hard times.

2955ASD Scandal

In the same year the public uncovered what had happened around Dr. Logan Jorrit, Project Hyperion and the Onyx Facility on Pyro I. Because we had flown transport contracts in that area, we sat down together as a crew and drew a clean line under questionable clients straight away. There was no public statement. Internally the decision was easy, because our shared compass was clear: conscience and solidarity come before profit.

2955Resource Drive

The Second Life Resource Drive also welded us closer together in 2955. Imperator Addison's call mobilized the whole system. With our Prospectors and Hull A freighters we worked for weeks hand in hand in the asteroid fields: copper, tungsten and corundum for Hurston Dynamics, who won the drive on 16 September 2955. It was hard work, but we saw it through as a team.

2956Today

Today, in 2956, our crew family counts nine members and 29 ships. The Polaris is our mobile home, the place we operate from together. The Carrack Expedition charts new routes, the Endeavor stands ready for the moment the research branch is built out further, and the Apollo keeps flying, because medical care is not a luxury. Whether it is a survey run or a rescue call: we hold together, whatever comes.

The first long-term goal is still a permanent headquarters in Prime on Terra, the megacity on the bay, built on the foundations of two colony ships. Not as a symbol, but because it is the next logical chapter.

The Nova Corporation is not a faceless corporation, but a crew welded together. We hold together and we deliver.
